Simulation is software. Stimulation is research.

DreamMaschine's current protocol console simulates closed-loop behavior and delivers no electrical current. The proposed consumer Dream Dock does not include stimulation hardware.

Any future work with real tACS or similar equipment requires independent certified hardware, ethics and regulatory review, trained operators, isolation, monitoring, and supervised validation.
